Auctus Capital Partners Supports Tropos Technologies, Secures Financing for Expansion of Turn-Key Electric Compact Utility Vehicle Solution

CHICAGO / SILICON VALLEY, CALIF. —  Auctus Capital Partners is pleased to announce its role as exclusive advisor to Tropos Technologies, Inc., supporting the leading manufacturer and distributor of all-electric compact utility vehicles (eCUVs) in securing financing to accelerate growth and pursue strategies to capture market share in the rapidly expanding segment. Funding was provided by Walleye Capital and the transaction was led by Auctus’ CFO and Managing Director John Dilatush.

Tropos offers electric low-speed utility vehicles and trucks that are street-legal (under its trade name, Tropos Motors) with technologies that cater to the to the corporate, fleet, first-responder, agriculture, last-mile delivery, and construction industries, as well off-highway and on-campus usage. It combines the latest engineering technologies and modern design aesthetics to manufacture and distribute products for the cleantech industry.

“We are excited to have Tropos as our client and it was a pleasure working with the company leadership through this transaction,” said Dilatush. “Low-speed compact electric utility vehicles present a unique solution for last mile delivery fleets wrestling with how to reduce expenses while increasing the use case to vehicle alignment. In fact, when compared to traditional vehicles, the economic benefits presented coupled with zero emissions creates an incredibly compelling solution that is solving key cost issues that the industry has grappled with for a decade or more.”

Since 2016, Tropos has worked hard to establish a market leading position with customized solution offerings that ensure customers own vehicles explicitly built for purpose and have the best ownership experience possible. The company and its affiliates operate manufacturing facilities in North America and Europe, supporting research and development, quality control, service and support, and administrative activities.

“We were extremely impressed with the team at Auctus Capital Partners, who understood our needs and managed the transaction diligently,” said John Bautista, CEO of Tropos Technologies. “This transaction enables the company to accelerate order growth and continue innovation that will drive change in the industry.”
